This unique, primitive style otter bag made by Will Stringfellow has long brain tanned buckskin fringe and a brain tanned buckskin strap. The bag itself measures approximately 9” x 6”, though of course is much longer with the tail. The bag flap is lined with red wool, and the tail is backed with red wool that has been pinked by hand rather than with pinking shears. There are brass bells at the top of each side of the bag. The tail is decorated with brass conchos, along with sandcast bead and japoned tin cone dangles. The pinked red wool on the back of the tail creates a red trim on the front of the tail.
